Conducting Research on Campus
Any research activities conducted on the campus of United Tribes Technical College are subject to approval of the Research Director and/or the Research Advisory Committee and/or the Institutional Review Board (see flowchart below). Any research project utilizing human subjects shall adhere to the regulations (45 CFR 46) issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for protecting the rights and welfare of human-research subjects and shall be subject to the policies and procedures of the UTTC Institutional Review Board #1 (OHRP registration number IRB00005063). Research conducted on the campus must be conducted by a qualified researcher or principal investigator (see UTTC Research Policies), who must have a signed Research Agreement in the UTTC Office of Research before conducting any research on campus.
