UTTC awarded voter education grant10 November 2005
2006 ELECTION CYCLE AHEAD: North Dakota Secretary of State Al Jaeger presents a handshake and a check to Phil Baird, United Tribes Dean of Academic Services, November 3 at the State Capitol in Bismarck. The $71,435 award funds the North Dakota Tribal Voters Education Project for the 2006 election cycle. The project partners North Dakota tribal colleges for non-partisan voter education among the state's tribal populations. Funding came from the Help America Vote Act. UTTC received a HAVA award prior to the 2004 election.
