'72 alumnus pays a visitDate
It was 33 years ago that Lorenzo Patterson (Yankton Sioux Tribe) graduated from United Tribes. On August 18 he stopped for a visit and to pick up a copy of his diploma, which he had lost during one of his many moves over the years. Patterson graduated in 1972, when the college was known as United Tribes Employment Training Center. After that he earned a degree in Criminology from Huron College, and later became a tribal judge on his home reservation.
