UTTC Air Fair promotes ‘green’ awareness

HANDS ON WORK: Kandi Mossett helped the United Tribes “Green Team” April 14 during an “Air Fair” at the college entrance gate – meaning air as in tire air pressure. Students and staff members checked for proper inflation, a quick and easy way to save money and promote green awareness. The service was FREE but some thankful drivers made a free-will donation to help purchase trees and seeds for campus spring plantings and summer gardens. Mossett is a Tribal Campus Climate Challenge Organizer for the Indigenous Environmental Network; she is based in Bismarck.
