Measure Up to Good Health2010 CAMPUS WELLNESS PROGRAM

BISMARCK (UTN) - The new, campus wellness program, “Measure Up to Good Health,” is underway at United Tribes Technical College. The program was launched Tuesday, January 26th with health assessments for participants.
The assessments included: step and flexibility test; arm, waist and leg measurements; and a nutrition and wellness assessment checklist.
The wellness sessions are offered each Tuesday from January 26 through April 27. Each begins at 4 p.m. in the Healing Room of the Lewis Goodhouse Wellness Center. Nutrition and wellness topics, exercise activities and a check-in for measurements and weight changes are included in the 30 minute sessions. The on-line class, “Wellness In the Work Place,” taught by Ruth Buffalo Zarazua provides additional information and motivation.
