Wellness Center construction underway18 January 2006
WORK PROGRESS: Construction is approximately 30 percent complete on the United Tribes Wellness Center. A run of unseasonably warm weather in late December and early January allowed workers to make good progress constructing the brick and steel framework of the approximate 19,000 square foot building. According to Russell Swagger, Dean of Student and Campus Services, the contractor expected to have the structure enclosed by the middle of January. The building is located immediately east of the James Henry Gymnasium and the Jack Barden Student Life and Technology Center; completion is set for June, 2006.
