Coffee Shop is open12 January 2006
AND THE COFFEE IS ON: Anthony Volk, manager, and Kelly Hurley, work study student, (both Standing Rock) are the new, smiling faces at Wopila Coffee Shop. After a hiatus in 2005, the eatery in the lower level of the Barden Center resumed service early this year, becoming the social center of campus life. Volk comes to UTTC with 15 years experience in the restaurant business and Hurley is a student in the Nutrition and Food Service Program. Wopila provides breakfast items, weekday soup and sandwich specials, and, of course, a wide selection of flavored coffees and teas, and other beverages. Catering may be offered in the near future.
