Position Title: Student Health Center Driver
Department:

Reports Directly To: Transportation Supervisor
Opening Date: June 15, 2010
Closing Date:  Open Until Filled
Status: Non-Exempt/Regular Part Time
Salary:  $8.50/hr.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, performs all or some of the following duties:

  1. Will be responsible to transport students and/or their dependents to Ft. Yates clinic twice a week.
  2. Will be responsible to transport students and their dependents to medical appointments locally, if necessary.
  3. Helps accrue data for monthly reports.
  4. Issues vehicles with authorization as requested by staff.
  5. Helps maintain performance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.
  6. Orders parts for vehicles when authorized.
  7. General building clean up.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION:

Occasionally makes moderately simple decisions regarding transportation activities.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

None.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position will require working evenings and weekends on a rotating basis, and 6:30 am on Tuesdays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent and (3) years full -time paid related experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years related education and (1) year full-time paid related experience.

Applicant must have a valid N.D. Drivers License in good standing, must supply driver’s license, abstract from Dept. of Motor Vehicle office.

Will need to have an acceptable motor vehicle record.  A copy of drivers license and a verification for DMT of clean driving record needs to be submitted with application
