The United Tribes International Powwow is held annually at United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, North Dakota. The Powwow is held in the Lone Star Arena at UTTC and has become one of the premier cultural events of North Dakota, receiving numerous awards over the years. Representing over 70 tribes, featuring over 1500 dancers and drummers, and drawing over 20,000 spectators the Powwow has become a must-see event.



Basketball

The mission of the UTTC Athletic Department is to provide students who meet National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) guidelines the opportunity to compete in intercollegiate athletics with other Region XIII teams.  Intercollegiate sports, usually basketball and cross country, are offered based on student interest, community support, financial ability, and educational, physical, social, and emotional value.


Jack Barden Center

The Jack Barden Student Life and Technology Center is a new facility for recreation and educational activities for students, parents, children and families that attend UTTC. The Center includes a study area, computer lab, meeting rooms, and recreation area. The UTTC Wopila coffee shop and the UTTC bookstore are located on the lower level.
