United Tribes Technical College welcomes International Students!

International students seeking admission to United Tribes Technical College should apply as early as possible before the semester they wish to attend. Since time is needed to accurately evaluate the academic records and to issue the necessary student visa forms.

There is no application fee.

Here's how to apply:

STEP 1

Complete the Online Application.

STEP 2

Submit original or certificate true copies of all certificates and grade reports received upon completion of credits you received. These credentials must include a list of all the subjects, which were studied, the minimum passing grade and maximum possible grade you received in each subject. If the credentials are not in English, they must be accompanied by English translations.

STEP 3

Proficiency in the English language is required. The applicant for admission whose native Language is not English must submit proof of the following:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): A minimum score of 500 is required For paper-based tests; 173 for computer-based test. Further information about the TOEFL can be obtained by writing to: TOELF. P.O. Box 899, Princeton, NY 98541.

Placement is determined by United Tribes Placement Testing and by personal interview.

STEP 4

Before Admission, applicants must arrange to have at least $10,040 in U.S. dollars for each year to cover expenses. The applicant is required to submit an up-to-date financial support statement from a sponsor, and a bank, which testifies to the sponsor's willingness and capability of supporting the student while attending United Tribes Technical College.

We recommend that you complete our Affidavit of Support form through the Financial Aid office.

Other Important Information

Applicants should not plan on employment in the United States or financial assistance from the college for meeting educational expenses.

All college tuition and fees are due and payable in full one year in advance.

Upon completion of the steps listed and approved by United Tribes Technical College, foreign student applicants will receive a letter of acceptance and a Form 1-20 Certificate of Eligibility. The Form 1-20, a valid passport, and proof of sufficient finances must be presented to the U.S. Consul abroad by the applicant for entry into The United Stated on a F-1 or M-1 student visa.
