Endowments
United Tribes Technical College is a 501(c)(3) organization.
All Contributions are tax deductible.
United Tribes serves students from throughout the United States. At any given moment, students from approximately 40 tribal nations occupy our classrooms. Many of the students attending United Tribes Technical College (UTTC) have chosen to do so in the face of adversity. Still, some have chosen to attend UTTC knowing that they have not secured funding either through their tribe or other federal sources.
In many cases, transportation from their reservation to attend college is an issue. Scholarship resources are dedicated to local needs rather than support provided for education. Though the cost of attending a Tribal College falls below the amount that students would pay to attend other colleges or universities, United Tribes has been forced to hold back on accepting students lacking in scholarship resources.
United Tribes was granted candidacy status by the North Central Association of Colleges in 1978. In the spring of 1982, United Tribes received full membership by the Association as a vocational school. That status was continued when, in 1987, the institution received authority to offer its first Associate Degree. In 1989, two more degrees were authorized. In March, 1993, the College was approved at the Associate of Applied Science level for all the programs. The College is accredited through the year 2011.
"Your support helps makes it possible for American Indian students to complete their education and acquire employment in their chosen field of study."

United Tribes provides a unique academic experience for American Indian students from throughout the United States and Canada. For many of our students, he/she represents the first member of their family to graduate from college. Our college is making a difference in the lives of students that were once dependent on temporary assistance for needy families. By attending United Tribe students are able to raise their children in an urban setting while acquiring employable skills.
Students attending United Tribes are pursuing a vision of self sufficiency, not only for themselves, but for their families and their tribal communities. Today, you can make that vision become a reality. Every contribution lends itself to healthy meals, scholarships, a new school bus for our elementary children, additional textbooks or computers for our learning center.
Unfortunately, United Tribes is constantly facing a lack of resources for basic necessities such as textbooks, meals and heating. We need your support to continue to provide opportunities for American Indians throughout the entire United States. With your tax-deductible contribution, United Tribes can continue building a foundation for students of the next millennium.
With the guidance of our ancestors and the spirit of partnership, we can accomplish the great task of stable funding for students and institutional support that leads to productive citizenship and economic empowerment for tribal students and communities. Please, take the time to make a lasting impression, provide a gift that changes the lives of those that represent the greatest needs.
Simply, complete the enclosed information required to initiate your gift to United Tribes Technical College. Once we have received your pledge, a confirmation of your tax-deductible contribution will be provided. As a token of our appreciation, a complimentary gift will accompany your contribution.
With your help graduates will stand prepared to embrace tomorrow's challenges knowing that their children will be extended the same privileges that they received.
